Objectives & Goals

Greetings, Prayer Team!
We’ve talked a little about resolutions and goals already this new year, and it’s time for some more! This time, we’ll focus a little more directly on the Streams of Light campaign, and I will share with you some highlights from Patsy’s goals and objectives.
“The Development Department is a service-oriented office working to promote understanding of Upper Columbia Conference’s programs and to secure adequate gift support to carry out the designated projects. Because sacrificial giving is a fragrant offering that ascends heavenward, stewardship opportunities offered by the Development Office ‘promise a heaven full of blessings for those who co-operate with God.’ As our hearts are brought to the feet of Jesus, ‘thoughts and affections are removed from earthly treasure and placed on heavenly treasure.’ Reaching the community for Him will become our highest priority.”
How do we make that our priority? In part, by
- developing a “Catching the Second Wind” strategy for MiVoden, nurturing relationships with both our own church members and members of the community around Hayden Lake.
- supporting the Streams of Light Leadership Committee as they guide the campaign.
- beginning finish-line communications through bulletin inserts, videos, web site additions, direct-mail letters, awareness events, and education rallies as we near our $6,000,000 goal
- continuing the major donor program.
- broadening awareness and support of the KEEP endowment and scholarships.
It’s a tall order, but with God’s help, all things are possible!
