What you'll do while working for Share the Life

Bible Worker Coordinator -- 40 hrs a week not including the Sabbath hours

A. Train church members to give Bible Studies

1. Teach church members how to recognize where God is working and how to engage those who are receptive.
2. Lead out in building trust relationships with people.
3. Lead out in teaching and modeling active listening and mingling skills.
4. Form relationships with church members, interact with them and share stories of people’s lives being changed.

B. Give Bible Studies with members

C. Model leadership and discipleship for our members

2. “The gospel we present for the saving of souls must be the gospel by which our own souls are saved.” Help in Daily Living p. 7

D. Lead Outreach Leadership Team

1. Develop prayer initiative
2. Lead out in taking surveys of community
3. Coordinate sowing activities
4. Discover ways to cultivate interests with the laity of the local church
5. Prepare for Share Him type series
6. Hold evangelistic series
7. Team teach these series when possible

E. Work closely by meeting weekly with the Pastor of the assigned district.

F. Lead a team of lay led Bible Workers from the local church to follow up and follow through on all interests

G. Attend UCC initial Bible Worker Coordinator training (Excluded are graduates from Bible Worker Course approved by Upper Columbia Conference)

H. Attend UCC Bible Worker Coordinator Cluster training

1. Six meetings a year
2. Personal Evangelism Department is responsible for ongoing training

I. The Bible Worker Coordinator will own a car and keep the vehicle registered and insured

J. Recognizing that this “job” is a calling, it is imperative that the Bible Worker Coordinator remain flexible and allow the Holy Spirit to create and re-create this job description.

UCC Bible Worker Instructor Associate -- 40 hours a week not including the Sabbath hours

A. Work with the Bible Worker Coordinator

B. Coordinate efforts between Bible Work and Magabook Program

C. Lead out in development and follow through of Magabook Program

D. Lead out in GLOW (Giving Light to Our World)

2. Encourage every church member in UCC to be involved in GLOW
3. Model the passion for literature distribution

E. Recruit young people for Mega Book summer assault in UCC communities

F. Form Sabbath afternoon literature outreach teams in the local churches

G. Make it your goal to have teams going out monthly

H. Recognizing that this “job” is a “Calling”, it is imperative that the Bible Worker Instructor Associate remain flexible and allow the Holy Spirit to create and re-create this job description.

I. To invest two days a month selling books to supplement their income and remain active on the front lines.
