The Upper Columbia Conference Information and Technology Services department facilitate success and efficiency. The goal of this page is to arm our Church and School employees with knowledge of our purchasing sources and our equipment resources so that they can be most effective in their work and most efficient with the available funds.
If you have interest in purchasing your own hardware to do voice translation, we recommend purchasing an FM transmitter
and then purchasing as many portable radios to use as receivers for each of your customers as you need; perhaps http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/tags-on-product/B00140DBRY?ie=UTF8&redirect=true where it has digital tuning and can be locked. (~ $25 per unit)
or a nicer unit like http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000G6M91G?ie=UTF8&tag=wholehousefmtransmitter0c-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B000G6M91G (~ $40 per unit)
We've had a good experience with Telex listening sytems, but they are very expensive.
