Ad Rotator Placeholder

Embed content that cycles clientside, not requiring a page refresh to change. This content can be xHTML, including text and images.

Example: /playground/AdRotator

Javascript is required clientside, so if JavaScript is disabled then content is ABSENT.

Mouseover of the rotator while it is running will pause it (so you can click) until the mouse is removed.

The content always rotates in the same order. If you want to mix up the content, place several versions of the ad rotator in the random content placeholder.

To get you started, choose the Ad Rotator placeholder from the Directory.

The Properties for the Ad Rotator by default are the following:

• Custom Attribute – customcssclass: optional css class name for custom style. None to turn off.
• Custom Attribute – name: unique name page.
• Custom Attribute – transition: optional ‘fade’, transition type. ‘none’ for no fading transition.
• Custom Attribute – transitiondelay: integer in milliseconds. Default 5000 (5 seconds)
• Custom Attribute – _windowx: where x is a unique integer. Content (frames) are sorted ascending based on x value and draw in order. Can contain escaped html (if editing raw code) and if using xStandard property box, just type HTML directly

More windows can be added, as illustrated.

Window values can contain xHTML (and this should be escaped if you're typing it in the XML View) so you can put stylized paragraphs, links, and images.
