RSS /XML Feeds

imageThe website footer can be configured to describe available RSS / XML feeds.

If either the word rss or icon are click on, they go to the /rss/all feed.

By default, a popmenu shows

  • links to a description of RSS
  • a feed only covering this web service (ministry)
  • a link to a feed featuring all pages covered in the CMS.

A webpage needs to be PUBLISHED active, as pending and deactivated pages are ignored in the feed.

imageEach entry in the feed is the page's name (presented as link to the page) and the page's Description attribute.

imagehttp://www.uccsda.org/rss/all is the default.

Valid derivatives if you want granular control of which department, order by edit or add date, and how many hits:

MessageBoards also have RSS feeds.

If the RSS feed has the 'edited' directive, then a [Diff] link will be put at the bottom of the description to allow an adminstrator to directly review changes between edits.

imagePicLens placeholder injects an RSS feed link in the header like http://www.uccsda.org/rss/images/playground/piclens.xml so that each image in the body is described and PicLens can interact with each image.

placeholder_piclenslite.asp does the actually rss processing for the /rss/images request.
