Importing to Outlook Contacts

Migrate groups from eAdventist into your contacts

1. In Outlook open up contacts

2. Open a new folder and name it

3. Open eAdventist, login

4. Go to Reports, Officer Labels

5. Select the organization type, School or Church

6. Select the people you want in your contacts list

7. In Data to download, select Address/Phone/Email

8. Download format: ASCII Text (Comma Delimited)

9. Label Format: ASCII Format (CSV)

10. Print Label. When a dialogue box comes up, open the file

11. It will open up in Excel. You can arrange things using formulas (see Kathy) then save as a CSV file.

12. Go to outlook and select the contact folder you named. Select File and Import

13. Import the “file” from another program or file then hit next.

14. Select Comma Separated Values (Windows)

15. Select the file to import

16. You will need to link the labels to the Contact label values.

17. Import
