Iseminger Accepts Associate Secretary Call

ATLANTA, Georgia, June 30, 2010 – Myron Iseminger, Upper Columbia Conference vice president of finance since 2008, has accepted the call to become an associate secretary for the World Church. It's an affirmative response to his election at Tuesday’s General Conference business session in Atlanta, Ga.

Myron and his wife, Candace, have served in various parts of the world, most recently at the Southern Asia-Pacific Division offices in the Philippines. The Isemingers also served the Northwest for several years in the Montana Conference. The position he has accepted is similar to that turned down two days ago by Bob Folkenberg, UCC president.

Another UCC leader has also has been tapped by delegate vote at the GC Session in Atlanta. Fred Hardinge has been elected as an associate director for the GC Health Ministries department. He has not yet accepted, but is considering the call. Hardinge, co-founder of Bibleinfo.com in 1995, is currently directing PositiveChoices.com, a UCC health evangelism Web initiative.
