COLLEGE PLACE, Wash – On Monday, March 29, 2010, the Blue Mountain Television Board of Directors voted to invite Pastor Kim Kjaer to join the television ministry as its new station manager.

“Pastor Kjaer has a passion for sharing Jesus that’s contagious,” says Judy Veitz, Blue Mountain Television’s board chairperson. “He is eager to accept this new challenge and I feel his vision and humble spirit will be a real blessing to our ministry.”

Kjaer says, "God has given me a varied experience that will help me build on the foundation others have laid at Blue Mountain Television. I hope to see it expand and grow into as many markets as possible.” In addition, Kjaer says he wants to begin making Blue Mountain Television’s ministry more widely available via the Internet.

Kjaer, an ordained Seventh-day Adventist minister, comes to Blue Mountain Television with experience in evangelism and pastoral ministry. However, he hasn’t always worked in Christian outreach. Initially, he worked in the business world where he owned and operated a successful software company. After selling software in the secular marketplace for nearly seven years, God called him to a different kind of sales job.

In 1995, Kjaer began working with Doug Batchelor as an evangelist for Amazing Facts. He has spoken to thousands all across the United States. His in-depth seminars provided participants with a clear understanding of Daniel and Revelation.

In 2002, Kjaer and his wife, Judy, accepted a call from the Potomac Conference of Seventh-day Adventists to pastor and plant a church in the Washington D.C. area. While there, Kjaer hosted “Clear Voice”, a weekly, live call-in show on WMET 1160 AM. In addition they volunteered at Montgomery Community Television, Channel 19 in Rockville, MD. They assisted with production, gathered interviews and produced programs for broadcast.

In 2007, after successfully planting a church in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Kjaer and his family moved to Washington State. They began work on a documentary project, aimed at sharing Bible truth on secular satellite networks.

Kjaer and his wife are the proud parents of their daughter, Annie Morgan. They also enjoy spending time with their two grandsons, Caleb and Joshua.
