SPOKANE, Wash., September 28, 2010 – Upper Columbia Conference Executive Committee voted to elect Randall Terry as the new UCC Vice President of Finance. Terry, who has served as Southern New England Conference treasurer since 2006, has accepted the call. He succeeds Myron Iseminger who accepted a call to the General Conference this summer. Terry will assume his new responsibilities in November.
Terry comes to the conference with a solid background in financial administration and management. Along with his business degree from Washington Adventist University (formerly Columbia Union College), Terry is also a certified public accountant, a certified financial planner and trust officer.
Following his 1991 graduation from WAU in Maryland, Terry served in the Columbia Union Conference as an accountant. In 1994, Terry began serving as assistant treasurer in the same office. Following his service with Columbia Union Conference, Terry served as associate treasurer for the Chesapeake and Carolina conferences.
“Randy is a committed follower of Christ with a passion for the mission of the church,” says Bob Folkenberg, Jr., UCC president. “He has tremendous financial administration skills and we look forward to having him join our team.“
Terry says, “We’re excited about joining the team and joining hands in ministry there in Upper Columbia.”
Terry and his wife, Tamara, shepherd a family that includes three active young men. Joey, 12, is in the seventh grade. Jonathan, 10, is in fifth grade. James, the youngest, is 7 years old and in second grade. The Terrys enjoy outdoor family time including bicycling, hiking and kayaking.
