Orlando, Florida, August 14, 2013 - Former president of Upper Columbia Conference, Bob Folkenberg, and his wife, Audrey had a booth at this year’s ASI International Convention that was held August 7-10 in Orlando, Florida. Current president of UCC, Paul Hoover, decided to head over to say hello and catch up with them concerning family and their ministry in China. While they were talking, Max and Linnea Torkelsen came up. “We had some fun with all of us catching up,” Says Paul Hoover. Max Torkelsen was president of Upper Columbia Conference before he filled the position of North Pacific Union Conference President in 2009.
ASI began in the 1940s and they meet once each year to encourage Adventist business leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals around the world. More than 2,900 people attended the Sabbath services.
