The North American Division (NAD) Pathfinder Bible Achievement Bowl program is an annual event open to all Pathfinder Clubs in which Pathfinders (grades 5-10) strive team-wise to demonstrate their Bible knowledge, to get to know Jesus and the Bible better. This event is devoted each year to a specific portion of Scripture (generally an entire book of the Bible).

The ultimate purpose of the Bible Bowl, as with all Bible study, is to bring the participants closer to Jesus. While the competitive element may be there, competition is not the objective. In fact a competitive atmosphere will have a negative effect on this excellent program. There are no losers in the Bible Bowl. Each participant is given an award in recognition of their efforts to gain knowledge on the selected book of the Bible. These awards are only tokens of the far greater prize obtained by all who make His Word their study.

There are four levels in the Bible Bowl program which will accrue over a three-four month period of time. Area-level bowls (two to six clubs) would be held in January or February, Conference-level bowls in February or March, Union-level bowls in March/April, and Division-level bowl the third week-end of April.

The NAD Pathfinder Bible Achievement Bowl should not be confused with the Regional Conference Bible Bowl program that has been in operation for many years, that includes several books of the Bible, participants are from young people to adults, and is conducted over several months with the final being held in the fall of the year. The Regional Conferences are to be commended for this outstanding program.
