President’s CD Message

It’s easy to think of the conference as that building on Grove Road in Spokane. Not true! You are the conference. Whether you are young or old, male or female, rich or poor, student or teacher, pastor or member—if you are a faithful Seventh-day Adventist Christian living in the Inland Northwest then You are Upper Columbia Conference.

And I want you to know that you are appreciated. Your faithful stewardship of your time and talent and finances makes everything we do in this conference possible. Thank you for your generosity.

Welcome to this CD report of our conference. It is just packed with information and good ideas! Learn about the exciting initiatives happening in your conference and made possible by your support. Grow spiritually by using the Bible study and prayer resources. Participate in the Conference Reading Plan for 2003. Reference the listings of all our local churches and schools. Consult the calendar for all the inspiring events scheduled in the conference next year. Listen to beautiful music from the excellent bands and choirs at our three senior academies. Discover your roots in the history and mission of this conference. Consult the sunset schedules. Explore hundreds of links to Adventist web sites. Put your kids to work listening to stories, coloring pictures, and participating in Bible challenges. Appreciate the multiplicity of resources available to you at the conference office. Read it all in the Spanish language if you prefer.

It’s unbelievable what technology can make possible. You hold all of this and more in one CD disk. But the bottom line still is people helping people and people sharing their testimony of what Jesus has done for them. Keep it up! Jesus is coming soon! Our task is to finish the work in this conference. You are a vital and indispensable part of that mission.

“May God, who gives patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other—each with the attitude of Christ Jesus toward the other. Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:5-6.
