Youth Mission Adventures 2010-Guatemala

Dates: March 16-29, 2010

Project: We will be building a church, putting on a series of evangelistic meetings, doing kids meetings (Vacation Bible School) and possibly providing medical care.

Location: Guatemala is a Central American country bordered by Mexico, Belize, Honduras, El Salvador and the Pacific Ocean. We will be working near Poptun. Poptun is a city with almost 45,000 people in the northwestern part of Guatemala.

Cost: $1400
Don't let this amount alarm you. The funds can be raised by anyone who feels God's calling to be part of this trip. He'll impress those who can provide the financial support you need. Each delegate is responsible for fundraising and will receive a packet showing how a combination of work, church support, and help from family will make this trip possible. All the money raised goes toward transportation (in, to, and from the country), food, construction materials, other project materials, and medical insurance.

Delegate Requirements
1. Must be at least 14 years old.
2. Must be recommended by your pastor or youth leader.
3. Must be willing to support the delegate financial obligations.
4. Must be willing to work hard for the completion of the project.
5. Must meet the qualifications of the project.

Delegates must have the approval of their parent/guardian, pastor or school chaplain, and school administration. Please send your application and non-refundable deposit of $150 to the Youth Department as soon as possible as space is limited. We'll send you an information packet so you'll know you've been accepted.
