control panel, printers, add printer wizard
  (.) connect to this printer with printer path:  \\X3535PTR\Print
  when requests a driver, use [have disk], 
    \\uccs2\public\Masters\Xerox 3535\PS Drivers, [browse]
    and select appropriate operating system
  choose the oemsetup.inf, and select the corrosponding Xerox DocuColor 3535 PS driver

FINISH INSTALLATION by going to Printer and Faxes > x3535 printer > properties > Device Settings > set Installable Options= Paper Deck Option: 3 Tray Module, Finisher Option: Finisher.

To change your user on the printer (and who gets billed) you must go into printer properties/settings
right click on the xerox printer within printers and faxes
under the general tab, select [printing Preferences]
under the Fiery Printing tab, select owner information (blue option)
key in your group name and group password associated with your department or your person (if a personal print job)
In the Notes field, Put your Department name (example: ITS DEPARTMENT) or if it's a personal account, put your Person's Name as this field shows up on the job log when we do billing.
click 'ok' and 'ok'

if you cannot print, doublcheck your printing preferences to ensure you identity is correct.
there have been times when the printer has needed to be restarted if it's status is 'unavailable' under Printers and Faxes.

The printer is shared under the name \\x3535ptr with an IP address of 172.17.1.253
