Mission Statement
Upper Columbia Conference Mission Statement
We are a caring family of Seventh-day Adventist Christians cooperating with God to provide resources and training in preparing people for the soon return of Jesus.
Organizational Structure
The Seventh-day Adventist Church worldwide is organized into several different levels to aid in the administration of 15,433,470* members. The world church is divided into 12 world divisions, which are in turn divided into regional "union conferences." These union conferences are further divided into local conferences which in turn are directly responsible for local churches within their area.
One of the 12 world divisions is the North American Division of the world church. This encompasses Canada and the United States and contains nine union conferences. The North Pacific Union Conference is one of these and is responsible for six local conferences in the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. Upper Columbia Conference (one of the six local conferences uner North Pacific Union) is responsible for the Seventh-day Adventist Churches in eastern Washington, north Idaho and northeastern Oregon.
