Robert Folkenberg, Jr. associate director of ShareHim.

The Upper Columbia Conference Executive Committee voted today to invite Robert Folkenberg, Jr. to serve as the next UCC president. Folkenberg would fill the position previously held by Max Torkelsen II, North Pacific Union President.

Folkenberg is currently serving as the associate director of ShareHim assisting churches to organize international and homeland evangelistic outreach.

Dr. John McVay, Walla Walla University President and Executive Committee member, said, "Bob Folkenberg, Jr. is a dedicated Adventist leader of both youth and experience. He will bring creativity and energy to the task and will be especially interested in involving young adults in the mission of the church."

Please keep Folkenberg and his family in prayer as they consider this invitation.
