Prayer Blanket Ministry

This is a new ministry operated by UCC Prayer Ministries. We invite you to create some prayer blankets to give out to people you are praying for.
Here are tutorials for both making them and how to give them at a personal prayer session.

Praying Together, April 24, 2024 

• Pray for Horatius C. Gittens and the congregation of Spokane Multi-Cultural Adventist Church that they can share Jesus with their community. 
• Pray for all members of the Richland Adventist Church, along with their pastor, Sergio Manente, that they will be strong and courageous for the Lord. 
• Pray for Leonie Goertzen, the Pathfinder Director for Otis Orchards Adventist Church, that she will be successful through God's power in leading these Pathfinders to a greater love for God and his creation. 
• Pray for this Bible Promise "Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him" James 1:12. 
• Pray for the each leader in each church, school and the conference, that God's Holy Spirit will be in control. 
• Pray for these events this coming weekend: Teen Extreme Rock Climbing and Walla Walla University Alumni Weekend, that God will be glorified. 
• Pray for our nation and our world, that God will surround his people and leaders with wisdom and thwart the enemy!

Praying Together, April 17, 2024 

• Pray for Kristie Biggerstaff, Katie Spencer, and Jenna Woodcook of Crestview Christian School that God will surround them with His wisdom and love. 
• Pray for Harry Sharley, pastor of Yakima Adventist Church, that he and his members will shine Jesus' light to all. 
• Pray for Slavik Ostapenko, pastor of Spokane Slavic Adventist Company, that he and his members will be filled with the love of Jesus. 
• Pray for these Bible passages to permeate your life: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'" John 14:6. "And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God" 

        Ephesians 5:2. 

• Pray for each UCC administrator, director, and each pastor and teacher that each will follow Jesus every day. 
• Pray for these events happening this weekend: Hispanic Women's and Young Women's Retreat at MiVoden, the NAD Pathfinder Bible Experience, "Let's Start the Conversation" at Walla Walla Eastgate SDA Church. 
• Pray for God to save his people on earth from unjust wars and from evil in the halls of Justice.
