Prophecy

Brant Berglin
Assistant professor of biblical studies
Walla Walla University

Seminars
"World Conditions in the Last Days"
"Standing for Christ at the End"

Brant Berglin grew up in a rather typical Seventh-day Adventist home in central California attending Adventist schools in Oakdale (elementary) and Modesto (academy). After two directionless years at Pacific Union College, he came to know Jesus Christ personally and spent the next year as a task-force youth pastor in northern California. This experience confirmed God’s ministerial calling in his life so he changed major, state, and school joining friends who transferred to Walla Walla College in 1992. He graduated in June of 1995 with a Bachelor’s degree in Theology and was married that same week. The Berglins received a call to pastor in Alaska and spent time ministering in Dillingham, Anchorage, Eagle River, Fairbanks, North Pole, and Delta Junction. He completed an MDiv from Andrews University in 2001 and is currently completing his PhD in Religion from Andrews as well. In the fall of 2012, the Berglins eagerly accepted a call to return to Walla Walla University where Brant teaches Greek and New Testament Studies for the School of Theology. Brant is a father to two fantastic children: Conner (b.1999) and Cami (b. 2001). Brant and his kids love living in the Northwest with family and friends, and all the out-of-doors opportunities it affords them.
