Carla Gober Park — Keynote Speaker

Some of you may recall about 10 years ago, Carla Gober presented for the Fall Women’s & Young Women’s Retreat. We learned, and laughed, and rejoiced at the great spiritual principles we absorbed from Dr. Gober’s presentations!

Or you may know Dr. Gober as “Journey to Joy Study Guide” for women’s small groups. In that study you learn about healthy emotions and holy hearts.

And then some of us rejoiced as we followed her engagement and marriage to Gordon Park – how exciting was that! Dr. Carla Gober Park!

Dr. Park, now serves as Executive Director of Faith Community Strategy of AdventHealth, headquartered in Florida.

A few of Carla’s favorite Bible texts on joy . . .

“The joy of the Lord is your strength!” Nehemiah 8:10

“In Your presence is fulness of joy.” Psalm 16:11

“Each morning I will sing with joy about Your unfailing love.” Psalm 59:16

“I sing for joy in the shadow of Your wings.” Psalm 63:7

“From where the sun rises to where it sets, you inspire shouts of joy.” Psalm 65:8

“I have told you these things so that you will be filled with My joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!” John 15:11
