"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think..."

— Ephesians 3.20

Featuring

Cindy Mercer — Keynote Speaker

Cindy Mercer, was married to a former CPA and poultry farmer who was living a life of fast parties, alcohol, drugs, and lust. Unknown to Rick, Cindy was being called to pray and fast for him rather than walk away from the marriage. Years later Cindy experienced a great promised miracle from God. Cindy loves sharing how to use the powerful tool of prayer to gain victory and break the bond that Satan has on our families. She is a passionate prayer intercessor, speaker and author of Pray Big—God Can Do So Much More!

She loves adventure and spending time with her family. In addition to working part-time as a registered nurse, she enjoys serving in ministry alongside her husband in the Oklahoma Conference.

Vania Kasper — Special feature

In 2009 Vânia Kasper had an encounter with nature that completely transformed her life and which uncovered her love for writing and photography. She enjoys sharing the insights God gives her from visits to her backyard, simple walks around the neighborhood, or trips through beautiful landscapes and exotic places.

Vânia is also a registered nurse currently working as a diabetes educator and also in private practice as a health and wellness coach. She fully embraces the promise that Jesus came to give us an abundant life and enjoys exploring what that looks like in her personal life and also with others. Vânia and her husband, pastor Bill, have one son and a dog. Other interests include playing the cello, card making, birdwatching, road trips with her family, and knitting Portuguese style.

Cindy Williams, RN — Special Feature

Cindy Williams, RN, BSN, currently serves as the Upper Columbia Conference health ministries coordinator and as the school nurse for Upper Columbia Academy. She enjoys helping people learn how to live a joyful, healthy lifestyle and working with churches to reach out to their communities. She and her husband, Grant, have two adult children and four wonderful grandchildren. Cindy enjoys hiking, backpacking, reading, and sewing when she has free time.

Sheryl Janke — Special feature

Sheryl loves creating and sharing with others. She loves to help others to learn hobby skills and these days there is a little more time for that since her retirement from careers in orthopedic nursing and work at Upper Columbia Conference. Her “retirement job” is currently the events coordinator for women’s ministries for UCC, and she creates for her cottage business as well.

She and her husband are parents to a son and a daughter and grandparents to five grandchildren, all of whom they treasure and love spending time with whenever possible. Other interests are camping, hiking, traveling, gardening, knitting, crocheting, card making, quilting and her dog, Margo.

She served in ADRA and several Adventist institutions for more than a decade. She loves pointing others to Jesus through service and through music both in composing and singing.

Alana Glendrange is a psychotherapist and a practicing attorney in Washington state focusing on contracts, estate planning, and personal injury. She and her husband call Washington state their home.
