The UCC Mission
The mission of the Upper Columbia Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is to share the everlasting gospel, in the context of the three angels messages of Revelation 14:6-12, with every person in the Inland Northwest and the world, leading all to love and accept Jesus as their personal savior and to unite with His church, nurturing them in preparation for His soon return.
Who are certified church leaders?
- From various vocational backgrounds
- Have a passion for the Adventist Mission
- Humble, have healthy relationships, have theological and financial integrity
- Experience in leading a ministry or group

- Recommended by a pastor
What do certified church leaders do?
- Lead Groups or Outpost churches
- Help Revitalize Struggling Churches
- Help grow existing churches
- Start new groups in new areas
- Preach
- Visit
- Conduct Bible Studies
- Lead the church leadership team
- Baptize new believers

What is expected of certified church leaders?
- Ordination as a local Elder
- Attend Annual CCL retreat
- Participate in Quarterly Training
- Zoom calls
- Sign the CCL agreement
- Annual renewal of agreement
- Regular mentorship with District
- Pastor for Training

How do I become a certified church leader?
- Pray about God’s calling
- Share your interest with your pastor
- Participate in a Zoom Orientation
- Fill out the online application

- Be recommended by a pastor
