Help Us Serve One More!

The Serve One More initiative helps churches and schools across our conference discover the joy of serving their neighbors in meaningful ways.

So far, Serve One More has been there to help communities with yard work, painting, free oil changes, and even totally re-roofing a whole house.

Let’s keep the momentum going, one act of service at a time!

Serve Café 2026: January

This episode of Serve Café tells the story of the Pendleton Automotive Care Co-op — an outreach designed to help keep cars safe and functional for those whose resources make car maintenance difficult or impossible. See how the vision of one church is having a massive impact in their community.

Serve Café 2026: March

This episode of Serve Café  features a project done by the Orofino church in Idaho. They decided to help a young dad named Cody with an extreme home makeover so that he would have a safe, inviting home. It matters to Cody because he only has his little girl with him a few days each week. Having a secure home is key in order for him to continue being part of his little girl's life. This video will encourage you as it demonstrates what's possible when we commit ourselves to make a real difference for our neighbors.

Serve Café 2026: April

In this episode of Serve Café, meet Dorothy from Goldendale, Washington. Dorothy found the family she didn't know she was looking for (and was convinced she didn't want to be a part of) when they showed up to meet needs she didn't dare ask for.

Serve Café 2026: May

This episode of Serve Café features the Pasco Adventist Community Services Food Pantry where volunteers gather every week to serve nearly 1,500 families. While every meal matters, the community built amongst the volunteers is truly spectacular. "Mary," a community volunteer says of this special group, "Now, I have a home."

Serve Café 2026: June

When the Spirit Lake Idaho church heard of a couple living without running water or reliable power for 21 years, they stepped in to serve with extreme generosity. They began by installing a cistern, plumbing water into the cabin, installing a water heater, and a shower. Next, they began constructing a solar system complete with panels, batteries, and an inverter. This gift from the local church allows the recipients to continue living on the land they love with reduced physical demands and more secure power and water.

Serve Café 2026: July

In this episode of Serve Café, see how Wenatchee Seventh-day Adventist church members have put directions given to Israel in Leviticus into action today through The Edge,  a garden for all to share, maintained by members on land made available by a local care facility. This garden is growing a source of community as well as fresh, nutrient dense food for sharing.

Serve Café 2026: August

This episode of Serve Café highlights service projects throughout Upper Columbia Conference during regional camp meetings. See how Serve One More is having an impact in communities near and far.

Serve Café 2026: September

On Saturday afternoon August 1, 2026 three fires ignited that would become known as the Spokane Complex fire. 900 homes were lost and many other families returned to find their homes standing, but uninhabitable. This is the story of how Seventh-day Adventists joined the community response to serve our neighbors.
