Goldendale Adventist Christian School lives out their school motto by sharing Jesus’ love in works of service.

Wednesday afternoons often find grades 5-8 of Goldendale Adventist Christian School living out their school motto by sharing Jesus’ love in works of service within the little community and surrounding area of Goldendale, Washington.

As a small three-room school, Goldendale Adventist Christian School equips and challenges each student to reach his or her potential: spiritually, academically, socially, and physically.

Serving the community in a variety of ways, students have spent their Wednesday afternoons stacking wood, weeding the yard of the Great Goldendale Chamber of Commerce, assembled cabinets for an elderly person, washed chairs at Goldendale Grange Hall for upcoming mission fundraisers, singing, and doing crafts with the residents of New Hope Farms, a place where intellectually or developmentally disabled adults can call home.

Occasionally, students will hand out little packets of encouragement including Bible verses, Glow tract, and school information to the local businesses. In addition to Wednesday afternoon service, Goldendale Adventist School built a Candy Cane Lane parade float. During the parade hundreds of the little packets of encouragement were placed in the hands of onlookers.

Learning to love, prepare, and serve others is the motto to live by and students at Goldendale Adventist Christian School do that every day.
