Giving Hope to One More

Hope Awakens series brings new interest

“I wish God would have made us into robots so we wouldn’t have the power of choice to have evil in the world.” This painful comment on YouTube caught my eye after a recent It Is Written Hope Awakens session.

Hope Awakens is a new series from It Is Written that is presenting the prophetic message of the Bible and also speaking to hearts burdened by fear, anxiety and uncertainty. Attendees can watch online, through Facebook, YouTube, through computers or their mobile devices.
On opening night, (April 17, 2020) more than 40,000 people tried to watch through Facebook, crashing the site. It Is Written technical crew immediately sent out messages with the YouTube link and soon there were thousands watching.

Those who watch through Facebook can use chat to interact with others. Sometimes calming a disruption or praying for the distraught, is a way to befriend the online congregation. This is truly a new way to evangelize. This new venue brought on by COVID-19 should prove to be a blessing, enabling members to reach one more for Jesus.

With hundreds of people having questions like the one above, there are now more than 400 interests from Spokane to Canada. Bible Workers, some brand new, will be contacting them to help them on the path to hope and finding Biblical truth. The goal is really the answer to that beginning question. That the Holy Spirit will help each person find out that Jesus loves them and wants to live with them forever in heaven, as humans in the image of God, not robots!

To participate in watching these meetings, go to: HopeAwakens.com or find It Is Written on Facebook.

Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble,
and he delivered them from their distress.
