Upper Columbia Conference presents virtual prayer weekend

By Makena Horton

UCC Communications Coordinator

Join together with fellow Upper Columbia Conference members February 25-26 for a virtual Prayeradigm Shift, an online prayer weekend presented by the Upper Columbia Conference and sponsored by Prayer Ministries at the North American Division.

Messages from Pavel Goia, associate ministerial director for the General Conference Ministerial Association, will be available to view online from the comfort of your church or home, and will highlight powerful and practical biblical principles on prayer, including unpacking God’s desire to align our prayeradigm with His prayeradigm.

A paradigm is our sense of “normal,” our frame of reference for our day-to-day based on the things we see and believe. These things guide our thoughts, feelings, and actions. When we change or begin to look at things with a new frame of reference, with a new “normal,” this is called a paradigm shift.

We normally recognize the value of prayer in our personal lives and in our communities. We understand that it is powerful but still feel there is more to be tapped into. Are we in need of a prayeradigm shift?

A prayeradigm shift allows us to shift our understanding of prayer, in our desires in prayer, and in how we pray. This allows us to align our thinking with God’s, seek His will, and surrender to His leading in our lives.

Registration is free and open now! To register yourself, your church or your small group, visit prayeradigmshift.org.
