Angels Whisper

This answer to prayer is short and sweet!

by Jim Kilmer

My son's and I were lost in the dense woods along a rugged west coast hike. We were along the ocean where there were no roads.

In dense darkness, fatigued and hungry, I cried out in my heart, not out loud, "Lord we need a place to camp."

Immediately there was a voice in my left ear which is stone deaf "There is a camping place right over here. Follow me and I will show you."

I said "Are you an angel?" He replied, "yes" and led us to a perfect camp spot.

"And this is the confidence that we have toward him,

that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.

And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask,

we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him"

 1 John 5:14-15.
