God Is Prepared

This story shares how God answered a prayer request about health insurance in His time!

I am often reminded that His timing is better than my expectations.

I asked for our prayer team to petition on our behalf for Health insurance we could afford that would cover our needs. We had an unfortunate start to our new year as my husband, to our surprise, was diagnosed with severe cardiomyopathy. And, no surprise when I started having issues too.

We had been planning on getting health insurance this next opening in October. Even though the insurance through his work was expensive, we decided to find a way to afford it.

Now we were looking at a future of expensive care. We figured that whatever happens financially, we would do without all else. As I searched, I was completely overwhelmed, trying to understand insurances in the marketplace. We wouldn't have enough money for food! What would we do? I was told by a friend that there was a woman at her work that, as a service to the community, helps people through the maze of health insurance to find one that is the best for them!

I made an appointment, which kept having conflicts. Medical bills coming in and increasing. No insurance yet. Why is God not answering me? A month went by. Another rescheduled appointment and we chose to wait upon God completely. At the appointment I cried. The expert told me that there was a new plan that she just received this morning from Biden’s American Rescue Plan

I had asked for an insurance for my husband that his amazing Cardiologist accepts and for myself. I expected her to say $1200.00 a month, even though we were hoping for less than $800.00 a month.

She said, "could you do $10.00 a month.? For the two of you?"

Do you see why I cried? I told her she would make my husband cry. He did.

Of course we have bills to pay and $150.00 copay, but the Cardiologist and my husband are worth it! God is helping us come up with the money for the balances. He thinks of everything!!

We are so humbled, and in awe of God! Praise Him for His timing! God has met us in our time of discouragement and lifted us up. We saw clearly His smiling face looking at us, and felt His loving arms around us as we walk this new path!!

All Glory to God!
