February is Private Schools Month

February 9, 2021

Did you know that February is Private Schools Month in the state of Washington?

Did you know that February is Private Schools Month in the state of Washington? It’s true! Governor Jay Inslee made the proclamation this past December encouraging people to observe this special designation.

So how do you celebrate this month? Why not reach out to your local Adventist school and share a word or deed of encouragement with the teachers. It’s been a unique year as they have navigated unprecedented challenges. Especially during this time of the school year, which have been referred to as the doldrums, a little encouragement goes a long way! And even though this proclamation is from Washington State I think we should include our schools in Idaho and Oregon as well.

We are so very proud of our teachers as they have continued not only the essential work of educating our students but the most important work of sharing Jesus with their students each and every day! We are eternally grateful for each of them.

Join us as we celebrate Private Schools Month!
