Camp team addresses coronavirus
Spring is finally here in the Inland Northwest and we are looking forward to summer! Over the last month we have seen unprecedented developments in our society as a result of COVID-19. We know that many are concerned about summer camp and we have quite a few asking if we will have camp this summer.
Camp MiVoden is continuing to adapt to the changing landscape while we follow the guidelines set by the CDC, Federal Government, state of Idaho, Kootenai County Health Department, and the Upper Columbia Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Our desire and hope is to run camp this summer and we are planning and preparing for that possibility. However, in mid-May our board will be reevaluating the direction for MiVoden this summer. We will continue to post updates on our website and social media outlets as the situation changes.
Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you who are affected, both physically and otherwise by this situation. We will continue to work to support our local community however we can while spreading a message of hope and healing in Jesus.

Early on Tuesday morning, October 13 a fire sparked at East Wenatchee Adventist Church. The fire started in the cradle roll Sabbath School room and, miraculously, did not spread further.

Gordon Pifher, former vice president of administration for Upper Columbia Conference, passed away early Friday morning, October 9, after a brief illness.
The Spokane Complex fires sparked a desire in the administration at Upper Columbia Academy Elementary School (UCAES) to help those in need.
Reaching our communities in 2027
By 6:30 a.m. every Tuesday morning, a dozen cars have already arrived at the Yakima Adventist Church parking lot.
On August 10-12, more than 100 UCC educators from throughout the Inland Northwest gathered at Camp MiVoden for UCC Inservice in preparation for the 2026-2027 school year.
This summer, 63 children streamed into Otis Orchards Adventist Church each day for Vacation Bible School.
Twenty-one men attended the retreat at Camp Touchet.
After nearly thirty years of prayer, sacrifice, volunteer labor, and unwavering faith, the Grangeville Church celebrated the dedication of its new sanctuary on June 6, 2026
